Misguided Music 8.29.07

Well I feel that we're overdue for a music update so here's a few things to check out. So go get your headphones and kick back to some new tunes.


1. Beirut- A wall of music with great vocals. Horns, strings, guitars and a great listen. It has a very organic feel with a sense of drama like something old and new thrown together.

2. A Fine Frenzy- I don't like female singers very often, but this girl caught my ear. If you like chicks on pianos it's worth listening to this one. I also think it helps that the chick is totally hot. It's a well known fact that hot chicks sing better.

3. Atreyu- And now for something completely different. I think this was Atreyu's motto for this disc. It's as if they tried to be everyone but themselves. This album is full of hits and misses and I'm still sorting all that out. There is enough here to keep me coming back so it's worth checking out whether you've been a fan of their style or not.
